Brenntag and Dow execute Food training/seminar

Mid of April 2010, Brenntag, the global market leader in full-line chemical distribution, executes a European technical training on the cellulose based hydrocolloids Methocel (HPMC, MC) and Walocel (CMC) of Dow.

 

In the Food & Nutrition Service Center in Loosdrecht, The Netherlands, 7 Food experts of Dow and 27 Sales Engineer, Product Managers or Business Managers of Brenntag from Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic and Switzerland came together to exchange market- and product knowledge mainly in the area of bakery and meat with focus on Methocel and Walocel.

 

Beside a theoretical part including presentations on the the functionality of the cellulose based hydrocolloids products by Dow and some Brenntag success stories, the participants had the chance to see in a practical lab session how Methocel and Walocel generates added value to their customers' end products.

 

Since 5 years Brenntag Netherlands coordinates the Dow-Methocel Business for Brenntag Europe and holds the highly appreciates seminars at regular intervals. Since April 1, 2010 Brenntag also started to distribute Methocel (HPMC, MC) in Germany.
